Welcome to Buckeye K9 Academy. By accessing or using our website and services, you ("Client", "You") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

These terms govern your use of our dog training services, including but not limited to in-person sessions, consultations, and related offerings.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Services Offered

Buckeye K9 Academy provides professional dog training services including but not limited to:

Private one-on-one training sessions

Group obedience classes

Puppy training programs

Behavior modificationIn-home consultations

Board and train (if applicable)

All services are provided at our training facility, your residence, or other agreed-upon locations within Lorain, OH and surrounding areas.

2. Scheduling and Cancellations

Appointments must be scheduled in advance.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of session credit.

Buckeye K9 Academy reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to trainer availability, weather, or emergencies.

3. Payment Terms

Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept payment via credit/debit card, Venmo, PayPal, or cash.

Packages must be used within 90 days of purchase unless specified otherwise.

Refunds are issued only in special circumstances and at the sole discretion of Buckeye K9 Academy.

4. Behavior and Safety

Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, etc.).

Dogs showing signs of illness (e.g., coughing, vomiting, diarrhea) must not attend training.

Owners are responsible for controlling their dog during training sessions.

Buckeye K9 Academy is not liable for injuries to dogs, owners, or third parties resulting from

inappropriate behavior or lack of control by the owner.

5. Liability Waiver

By enrolling in our services, you acknowledge:

Training outcomes depend on consistent practice and owner participation.

No training method guarantees 100% success.

You agree to hold Buckeye K9 Academy and its staff harmless from any and all claims arising from services provided

including but not limited to injuries, property damage, or lost items.

6. Media Release

Unless otherwise stated in writing, you grant Buckeye K9 Academy the right to use images or videos of your dog(s)

for marketing, social media, and educational purposes.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information about your dog.

Follow the training plan and guidelines given by your trainer.

Practice regularly with your dog outside of sessions.

8. Termination

Buckeye K9 Academy reserves the right to terminate services at any time if:

The dog poses a risk to the safety of the trainer or others.

The client fails to comply with these Terms.

Inappropriate behavior or abuse is directed at trainers or animals.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio specifically Lorain County without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
